Yes, execution is essential!If a firm is not making money with an idea, there is no innovation.“ And that’s, more often than not, the crux oft he matter: A profitable business is more than an idea. It requires resources and management, thus commitment of many, if not all employees. In many cases, this includes to give up some beloved project or activity, to say „no, we won’t do that anymore“.

This may be particularly tough for Sales people, who are familiar with their business, proud of their products, and who have – more or less successfully – built and maintained a close relationship to their customers.

But, no matter how you look at it, there is no alternative to the „long, frustrating journey toward converting an idea into a fully scaled up profitable business.“
