Lean Start-Up or „Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.“

14. Mai 2013

This week, I have read a very comprehensible article describing the methology called the „lean start-up„: While existing companies often execute a business model, it is the very nature of start-ups that they are looking for one. The article in Harvard Business Review offers a brief overview of lean start-up techniques, and explains how it could trigger a new entrepreneurial economy.

Obviously quick product development and early customer feedback is not only for new ventures. Continuous innovation is a must for large companies as well. Why shouldn’t they involve their customers earlier in the process, instead of accepting a much higher risk of failure?  Definitely worth reading!
